I don't see myself as someone who tries to hide bias, my PC/PS3 preference is no secret, nor do I make it one. I'm your "target"? What the hell?

I think Immortal is right that #7 by year's end is a lock. #2 should be possible in the long run.

#1 would be very hard and would depend upon MASSIVE legs or a bundle.

Next week Wii will have four new million sellers:

1. Super Mario All-Stars: Collector's Edition
2. Michael Jackson: The Experience
3. Endless Ocean (selling 1.5k a week for the past few weeks and only needs 500 more copies to hit a million)
4. Hasbro Family Game Night 2

Well, DKCR stayed level 2nd - 3rd week in Americas, rose 1st-2nd week EMEAA. Plus, have you seen the Wii titles recently? They open to nothing and leg out to infinity. DKCR should easily do that, too. Wouldn't be surprised at over 10 million.

I bash it frequently because it is talked about frequently. As long as it continues to be talked about everywhere I see nothing wrong in expressing my opinion of the device, as long as it doesn't cross the line of trolling, and the mods have thus far rightfully deemed it not trolling. I have just as much a right to my opinion as the Kinect apologists, as long as I explain my arguments.

Anti Kinect propaganda? Lol, I'm just some random dude giving my two cents.. If anything, there is PRO Kinect propaganda, and trust me, there are plenty of viral marketers for the product on the internetz, so who's to say some haven't found their way to this site?

No resemblence to the 32x? Sega brought out the 32x late in the Genesis' life in a dire effort to counter the SNES. The 32x launched to massive sales its first holiday season, and Sega couldn't even keep up the demand. By next year, sales fell off a cliff because its software quality didn't measure up.

Now while I'm not necessarily saying the same pattern will exactly happen to Kinect, all signs seem to point in that direction, if you look at the lack of quality of the software, and the lack of future releases. The software doesn't even really sell NOW, and the product is brand new, riding the holiday season strength. So what makes you think it will sell during the slow periods next year?

Why are some people getting so defensive about Kinect anyway? Especially with those games.. It's a hardware add on! Were peple ever this defensive about the Eye Toy?

I don't hate the Wii, I just don't love it, if that makes sense. I've contemplated buying one for ages but I somehow keep postponing it. The price of the console itself and especially peripherals is probably part of the reason, the price of 1st party titles another. I have owned every Nintendo home console since and including the NES and have been playing them all my life (got my NES in 1988) and I will eventually buy a Wii for sure.

I actually did hate the Wii at some point, back when I joined the site. I guess one could say that I just didn't understand the product, as opposed to now when I've realised that it has a place in a gamers collection simply for offering something different. The HD consoles have lacked the wow factor for me and I find myself growing bored of most games that come out. Lately, I've realised that what I truly do hate is the casualization (if there is such a word) of old, loved genres of mine, namely RTS, shooters and RPG's rather than more casual games that are built as such from the bottom up.

Games with no discernable storylines, 100 hour campaigns and photorealism certainly have their appeal, what I don't appreciate is developers trying to blend the casual with the old core, watering down the very essence of entire genres.

I guess you could say that I've changed my opinion heavily since coming here over three years ago, everything seemed so clear cut back then, the PS3 would be awesome and the Wii was no good because it was not the Gamecube and I didn't care for the 360 since I didn't like the x-box. Now, though, my overall interest for console gaming has waxed and waned and I'm starting to see all three consoles as equals, equally unintersting, that is. Still, there's no denying the fact that I still consider one console overall better, if only for the increased funcionality over the others (the PS3). The games library of the HD consoles is fair imo, nothing spectacular, the games library for the Wii is not of adequate standard for a market leader having had several years on the market, especially where 3rd parties are concerned.

I started playing PC games for real about 6-7 years back when I got my first (shitty) PC, and did some PC gaming back in the golden era (early-to mid nineties) and each year I grow more distant to consoles and, for the life of me, I can only see consoles as something that is sabotaging PC gaming. I will end up owning all three consoles this gen, simply out of love for gaming, but I'll look back on this gen as the most disappointing one by far.

U know what mummel, u and cgi have to be the best ps3 owners i know, we may like different consoles but hey me and you definitly have the same views, this gen has been pretty disappointing to me as well. The only thing that saved the wii to me is nintendo, and i still think they should be doing alittle more, and curse sony for keeping uncharted to themselves. I think i was argueing with carl and said something about uncharted sells wise which was quite ignorant. I said it was a flop mainly because i want that game so bad lol. That game is amazing i use to tell myself sony doesn't hold a candle to nintendo but honestly that game is up there with zelda(cant wait for that game) and i am so jealous of the 360 online structure(except the fee).

In other news that makes me smile is uDraw Studio's last weeks numbers were adjusted up from 59K to 79K! uDraw Studio also sold its highest #'s yet this week selling 148K...in America alone! This also means that uDraw Studio outsold Sports Champions in America for 2 weeks in a row now...by 14K last week and 49K this week! 390K within its 1st 4 weeks(month) in America is very good to me.
