well Nintendo usually takes in game graphics and makes cut scenes out of them. in the beginning of the trailer were ling draws his sword it looks a lot better than the demo they played as well

edit: just watched the trailer and yes it is in-game as link is the same model as in the game-play

was there any Zelda with pre-rendered scenes before?

I think not, thats why I came up with this thread... But I'm not sure...

well if you exclude the CD-i atrocities...

Not in clip scenes, but Ocarina of Time had Castle Town and some building interiors with pre-rendered backgrounds

Isn't it annoying the fact that that chick is 10x hotter than your gf?

She's not. So I'm fine

Also, interesting point about the level of detail. However, this looks like a very small area where they might afford more details than somewhere else.

I reckon it's in-game. If not I'll be disappointed. I have high hopes for this game after what they said about Monster Hunter...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Was there a second pic?

On topic, i think Skyward Sword will deliver impressive visuals for Wii.  The art direction seems brightful and the low resolution textures  might be for that rushed demo.

I think it's in real time. Oh, wait, you meant the 2nd pic?

I really hope they improve those graphics seen at the E3 demo, although I am not sure 100%. The 2nd pic seems a in-game sequence that you may see many times in the game because it will be a way of connecting Skyloft and the'underworld', more or less the same the sequence that took place in Ocarina of Time everytime Link grabbed the master sword from the time pedestal, it also had more quality.
