If versus went to 360 id just stop liking SE XDDDD if they made ff7 for a non sony consol id go on a rampage a burnt SE hq to the ground (^.^)

Nah, I don't think it would cause such a meltdown like FF13. People are expecting that already. Also, there have been a lot of hints to it, actually.
OT:
After seeing FF13 myself, I agree totally. The game was just not worth it's hype. FF13 may be not a bad game, maybe it's even a good game, but certainly not worth of the name Final Fantasy. I think the fans woud have been way more forgiving and the Metascore would be higher if Square Enix would have changed the name. The sales would have been lower of course, though.

Yeah that event was overhyped, but not as much as the game itself. Its a ok game, lots of wasted potential, but still better than FF12.

I would have liked it much more if it wasn't called FF13. Giving it that name made me expect many things which the game was never meant to have, but I can't excuse them for that because its still called FF13, so I expected a Final Fantasy.

I don't think going multiplat is a big issue. The problem with FF13 is its story, dialogue and half the characters. If the game gave us the story that was there in the datalog (that made sense, the one told in the game didn't) then it would be a much better experience. Did FF13 going multiplat mean the writers wrote a horribly cliched and corny script? No. Did FF13 going multiplat mean the writers who had a great story (as the one in the datalog was good) just weren't able to tell it in game? No. The rest of the game was pretty good especially the battle system and music, but it failed at the story, thats unacceptable for me in a linear JRPG, because story is your saving grace.

If versus does use the open map thng again its gona be quite annoying on 360. its not like with ff13 where its so linear er it doesnt matter, what if u wanna go somewhere for 1 sec to get summin? do u have to change disks once to get there and once to get back? XDDDDD
