Well thats to be expected. Isn't Nintendo holding their own 3DS event in the new year? I'd expect they would hold as much info back until their official event. Besides Nintendo wants to hold its cards close to its chest as long as possible to deliver the biggest blow possible to the competition!

3DS will kill the PSP, and according to Michael Pachter the PSP2. But can it compete with the smart phones?

Don't know, but would be Epic. Like 10m 3DS sold in Japan in a year...

It's likely we'll see many big announcements, but right now I'm more interested in the system itself, especially about the online and the (eventual) achievements system.
