I predicted 1.2 million in Europe, and 500,000 in both NA and Japan. It looks like I might be spot on.

What do you mean everytime? Saying "all games push HW" ... you only have to say it once to mean it .. unless you don't mean it anymore.

As entertaining as this back and forth is, could you answer my question on why GT5 can't hit a million second week when GT4 did it and GT5 has the holiday at its back?

Sure.

Different buying trends, different console, different users, past trends THIS gen (not last gen), fact it had 4 days this week rather than the 2 it would normaly have had. We'll just see aye.

More like :

The reviews are lower.

The competition is higher.

The long wait did some damage.

But your points are good too though.

Saying it before isn't every time Seece. I agree with observations, you really are being ridiculous here.

What do you mean everytime? Saying "all games push HW" ... you only have to say it once to mean it .. unless you don't mean it anymore.

I said all games push hardware? Show me.

lol, I don't bookmark all the funny posts you make CGI. If I ever come across it again I'll wall post you it.

I see, so it's a BS claim, once again. If you can't put your money where your mouth is, don't push the issue.

Eh, no it isn't. I remember what I saw, heck didn't you just admit you said it once? Like I said, when I find it one day I'll wall post you it. Don't go too frantic searching through your post history to edit it

Is GT5's biggest region EMEAA or Japan?  I was expecting a bigger boost from GT5 launch week, but still a good boost for PS3.  Can't wait for Americas!!!

well,if 360 outsold over 150k in Americans,360 will ahead PS3 this week

will it possible?

It is possible,but unlikely.

Wii is first in America with 600k.Considering the 360 has done less than that, but 150k more than the PS3,it would mean that the PS3 has had a HUGE drop over last year's BF week.

I dont see why it is not possible

last year, we had Slim boost price drop for the PS3
it was an exceptionnal BF I think
this year, Slim and kinect and Halo are all on the 360 side

150k for the 360 in NA looks pretty possible to me

I think Slim and Halo already gave their boost, this BF is all about Kinect (that isn't seeling
new consoles)...

Mostly probable outcome is Xbox360 trailing PS3 by less than 50k...

I don't think reviews will damage it tbh. Or the wait per say, but the competition is fierce this gen, GT5 will still be top selling sim racer but NFS, Forza ect have chipped away over the years.

GT4 has an 89 meta.  GT5 has 85 with scores still coming in.  Hardly a gap, not to mention that people largely don't give a crap about reviews.  The long wait only did damage for critics, a.k.a. the irrelevant people.  The only decent point is the competition, and the Wii seems to be handling it's competition pretty well.

I think, once again, we should wait and see instead of making impulsive claims and past trends.

You think the long wait did damage to the critics only? Many people that were waiting for GT5 to release, stopped waiting for the release and went to other racing franchises...or just stopped playing racing games, simple as that.
