I eat food off the floor all the time. Even if it's not mine. Sometimes I don't know how it got there, I just do it.

Oddly enough, I also can't eat food that falls onto the table.

However, I'm more than happy to eat food that's fallen on the floor. Only large pieces of food, though, like doughnuts or cookies. If I drop, say, some rice on the floor, I'm not about to pick that up and eat it. Naturally, if a doughnut falls off my plate and onto the table, I won't throw it away.

Not entirely false... They have more digestive enzymes that kill bacteria in their saliva then humans do. It's how/why they can lick their anus clean. If we were to do that, well, we'd most likely be sick... very, very sick. Their saliva is more anti-septic then ours.

Of course, they don't brush their teeth or use mouth wash!
