the game's the same as the Genesis games, which is very dated by now, and also the only person who is loving it is the "Cool guyz" at IGN, it should have been a downloadable , its a remake of an arcade game.

Me and my friends have been enjoying it.

On Topic - EA screwed the pooch. Im not even sure what the HD's even ended up actually getting for theirs. Leaving out the online on the Wii version probably hurt it. They didnt really do anything to push it that im aware of other than confuse the hell out of people.

am i the only one that cant see the different's graphically between the wii version and ps3/360 versions?

i thought it was gonna be a hit considering NBA Jam is the most addicting basketball game in existents, what the hell happened?... i'm guessing it something to do with the Typical EA decisions they made through its development.

Don't you remember the mess EA did with this title on the Wii and the HD consoles? Right now I'm in the middle  of something, maybe later I will look for one of the threads here that were before the game came out..

Currently Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Anticipating: Xenoblade, The Last Story, Mario Kart 7, Rayman Origins, Zelda SS, Crush3D, Tales of the Abyss 3DS, MGS:Snake Eater 3DS, RE:Revelations, Time Travellers, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Luigi's Mansion 2, MH TriG, DQ Monsters, Heroes of Ruin

Do you really not realize the problem?  It's that a re-released (essentially for the next word) arcade game costs $50.  What did you expect at that price?

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Let's see how it does by the end of this holiday season then we'll see whether it will have long legs, at least on wii. I'm buying it anyway.

My thread for teaching VGC some Nigerian slangs

It should have been completed and then sold as a $15 DL game and a $20 retail game.  Well, if EA wanted to make millions off of it.

As it is, the budget was very low so the Wii version will likely turn profit (unless EA is able to screw that up too).

I believe this is incorrect: the planned digital version was going to exclude it, but the ultimate retail version contains all the features of the Wii version, plus online play.

Okay, here's my revised three point list:

- Wii doesn't have online.

- Career mode sucks.

- At this point, nobody knows what features the game has or whether it's a disc, or a bonus on a disc, or a downloadable title. A confused customer is a customer who spends money on something else.

I will not pay full price for a game which was planned to be a PSN download game for 15$. I will only buy it when it go down to that price. EA made a big mistake making this a full blown retail game.

On-rails don't sell on Wii!!!

Oh wait, no online play!! Yeah, thats it.

EA screwed up royally, most likely because they were too busy worrying about their bottom line, consisting mostly of dev. costs funnelled into HD titles, etc. 2K11 has done a million combined meanwhile.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
