I'm more surprised by how low the DS is.

With the violence in Brazil, its no surprise, you would be begging to be robbed if you walked with that on your hands.

WTF are you talking? Are you stupid? Do you live here to know something about here, or do you only know what the stupid news showt? Get out of your fucking box retard.

Above: still the best game of the year.

Yeah I do live there or something, sou brasileiro... Vlw, reportado.

This also shows exactly why Wii doesn't have chance to pass PS2 in WW lifetime sales. In developing countries difference is massive.

He talks portuguese... so he is Brasilian (I guess).

That's his opinion.

And I don't see many people on the street with a DS or PSP but I believe the problem is not violence but the illegal market not included in official figures.

All consoles have sold much more than that here.

doubtless another inflated ship number from sony

Lol that was funny and unexpected, I didn't know you were from Brasil. Yeah, I agree with you, this comment is... very strange, to say the least. I usually see people taking bus and walking around here with a PSP, iPhone or DS on their hands.

Agreed, but lately I saw a good amount o people playing PSP and DS on bus. The numbers are much higher than that because of imported consoles, which I'm pretty sure Sony doesn't count here.

ya i figure the portable sales have taken the biggest hit from the illegal numbers because it would be much cheaper to ship them from other countries then the consoles. Good sales from Brazil. I have a feeling next gen all three consoles will focus there a lot more since its market is expanding very rapidly.

And Sony Brazil promote seventeen games to R$99,00 (US$55) for x-mas:

- Little Big Planet
- God of War Collection
- Ratchet Lank Future: Tools of Destruction
- Motor Storm
- Socom US: Navy Seals Confrontation
- Resistance: Fall of Man
- Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
- Heavenly Sword
- Uncharted Drake's Fortune
- Little Big Planet Goty
- Resistance 2
- Killzone 2
- Infamous
- Ratchet & Clank Future 2: Crack in Time
- Motor Storm: Pacific Rift
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
- MAG

^Thanks for sharing, ethomaz. I knew they would cut the price this year to R$99,00. Next year the price will go down to R$79,00 for the GH line, imo, if the government doesn't reduce the taxes.
