No. Not really. As my 2nd console of choice (The PS3) is currently beating the Wii in Japan for the year, for the week, for the Month. Etc. It has far better support from 1st, 2nd and 3rd party developers. It's up YoY, not down YoY. AND it has it's biggest exclusive of the year releasing in next weeks numbers. It was winning for 15 straight weeks before last week, and has regained the lead this week. The week BEFORE GT5 releases.

y'know what's funny, I've heard every variation of that whining.  "can't stick up for PS3"  "can't stick up for 360" and "can't stick up for Wii".  Hell even a bit of "can't stick up for PSP".  Maybe one day people will step back and think, "maybe it isn't what I'm defending, it's how I'm trying to defend it"

but that's probably too much to hope for.

OT: Kinect sales (at least as far as games and effect on hardware) are really not in line with those who said there were sold outs and lines. As to PS3 vs. Wii, yes PS3 is over Wii but I wouldn't call 1k domination.

With Kinect Adventures not being in the top 20 and with a 5K increase in 360 sales, Kinect mainly sold to people who didn't own a 360 or just wanted a new 360. PSP sales ar insane when comparing it to everything else. It is actualy just shy of equaling everything else combined.
