Forums - General Discussion - Flying with your kids this holiday? S/he might be strip searched by TSA

I love taiwanese new animation!

OT: I would never go through one of those scanners. And I would never let someone I don't know pat my junk (without copious amounts of alcohol in my system at least).

Guess I won't be flying for a while.

And this is what we get for trying to be PC.  And I'm not only complaining about not racially profiling, it's that we're not profiling at all.  Seriously, when's the last time a 10 year old or an 80 year old American high jacked a plane or attempted to bomb one?  These  measures should only be reserved for those who meet the profile and/or are acting suspiciously.  Instead, they are doing them at random for 3 reasons.  A. Just so TSA can try and show what power/authority they have.  B.  So the TSA look like they are actually doing something.  But most importantly, C. So they look like they aren't racially profiling and are being PC, so they don't offend certain groups.  Unfortunately, this government is defending the wrong people.  And it has to stop.

Going on like this, high-speed rail will end up killing short and medium distance air transport wherever available...

Except for the fact that any dream of high speed rail in America got shot down with the republicans taking the house.

This is country is so screwed, I just hope somebody goes nuts and kills some TSA people.

Um, no.  Maybe you mistyped that?

TRUTH

Certain groups are simply more likely to commit an act of terrorism on an airplane than others.  Facts are facts.

I think you worded this wrongly.
