i bought the dvd and blu-ray collector's editions, was wondering who else bought the collector's editions of the movie? and which version as well.

No its was already far too long and far too boring. Why would i want an even longer version.

No, i'm still angry that when they released avatar back in april it didn't have any bonus features.

Avatar kinda sucked.  I mean, you live your entire life as a human, dating human girls, and masturbating to human porn, and then all of a sudden, after a month of hanging out with another species, you're into alien chicks?  That normally takes seven weeks.

I bought the collectors edition, mainly for my girlfriend. My god this film just looks amazing.

I would have gotten the Collectors edition on Blu-Ray, except I already bought the previously released shitty version on Blu-Ray.  :(

for ppl who didnt like it thats ok, your opinion and i respect that. but me and millions & millions will return to pandora again and will anxious await dec 2014 and dec 2015 for its sequels as well.

I didn't buy the previous version on BD when I found out it had no extra features at all. I actually enjoyed the movie when I saw it on 3D IMAX, but only saw it once.

And now that I'm seeing that the collector's edition is only $25, I think I'm going to have to order it for the pre-production, production documentaries and VFX features. It'll be interesting to see if I still find the film as engaging when it's not on a huge 3D screen.
