KA should be second or third so we can speculate that in EMEA Kinect launched somewhere between 100k - 150k. So it should have better launch in EMEA than Move.

We need Kinect Sports numbers but if the others game did well so Kinect should be abova 70K in U.K

Black Ops Smashes All Records

Activision Blizzard’s ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ (360/PS3/PC/Wii/DS) explodes into the All Formats Chart and is by far the biggest ever launch of any game, recording a staggering 2m units in the UK over 5 days and generating an estimated £81.9m.

This is up 13%  in units over previous record breaker ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’ (1.8m) and up 21% in terms of revenue (£67.4m for MW2).  To put this in context, Activision’s title grossed more than the entire UK entertainment software market over the previous two weeks combined.  Week 45, 2010 becomes the biggest grossing week of all time (£113.8m total UK entertainment software market estimate) – the previous best was £107.6m back in week 52, 2008.  The Xbox 360 version of ‘Black Ops’ is the lead format with 55% of units, ahead of PS3 which takes 42%.


Also new this week is Microsoft’s Kinect and for more information on the Kinect Sensor please refer to our weekly Motion Controller Report, which tracks MotionPlus, Move and now Kinect side by side.  In terms of the 11 Kinect launch titles, eight of them debut in the Top 40.  Lead title and the next biggest release after ‘Black Ops’ is Microsoft’s ‘Kinect Sports’ at No4 followed at No13 by Microsoft’s ‘Dance Central’ and at No15 by Ubisoft’s ‘Motion Sports’.

I update my prediction: KA should equal 3x KS numbers so in EMEA should sell at least 200k of Kinects.

Xbox 360 leading the way in U.K and Americas!

Without Xbox those numbers wouldnt be possible!

Wait wait wait ! If KS is higher than BO on PC which if I count right should sell 63k in UK it gives at least 63k for KS in UK alone so Kinect could hit even 180k in UK alone O_o

Eurogamer: Number cruncher GfK Chart-Track has explained to Eurogamer why sales of Kinect Adventures - the game the Kinect camera is bundled with - haven't been included.

Microsoft's view on this is that the Sensor sells for £129.99 and that Adventures will not be sold separately - it is a pack-in product," Chart-Track's Dorian Bloch revealed.

This is similar to Wii Sports, which was never tracked as a software item as it was never available as a solus product - only with hardware.
