To be honest, I really didn't see any possible way back then. I predicted that both Kinect and Move would be flops. Commercially, they are both far from that.

If there's anything this generation should have taught us by now, it is that very thing. Even though I haven't enjoyed a whole lot of games in the past few years, the hardware race and software sales sure has been exciting!
We are pretty close to 20m mark.
Get ready to party up!
This Thread Delivers, Kinect is more close to 30m now than 20m predicted by this beast!

Yeah I was reading through the first few comments and many people was saying no chance and that kinect would not do well.
This site says 20m, Microsoft says over 24m.
Hummmmm
Not hard to know who to believe.

It will probably end up at around 22-23 million so my guess would be it will either end up at #12 or #13. Considering Kinect Adventures is the only title that's still in the top 100 out of those listed, it's not going to really have to worry with trying to outpace any of those titles.... |
Well it's at 24m units shipped (December 2012), though closer to 30m (25m shipped) than 20m as of now is still a bit of a stretch.
I think 360 shipped 1.3m units last quarter, so Kinect shipments should be ~500k or so higher now(assuming it wasn't "overstocked").
This thread was about sold to consumers by the end of 2012. VGC didn't have it at 20 million by then and so it didn't actually happen but it came much closer than I thought it would. So that was a great prediction by toastboy anyhow.
