Well you took me to seriously, obviously people are talking about it but its minimal compared to this site as i posted in 2010 more people searched for Tekken this year than GT, and Tekken 6 was a mediocre game released in 2009 and GT5 is supposed to come out soon, yet according to people here its bigger than GTA and COD and its gonna sell 10 million.

Yet nobody cares.

Wow the term Gran Turismo 5 on google nets you 4.3 million results, i never expected it to be that low. Its been in development for so long and thats it?

Red Dead Redemption has 7.2 million, Dead Rising 2 8.9 million, Halo Reach 56.5 million, COD Black Ops 98.2 million.

lol even Forza 3 gets me 20.2 million.

lol according to google trends Forza has has 34% more google hits than Gran Turismo this year. I know i should support PS3 but i cant wait until GT5 is released everyones gonna be so gutted.

It was like when Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2 were coming out the same week and people made threads comparing the two and who would win and then it came out and Resistance 2 was humiliated.

Frieza; you come into every single GT5 thread in here and start spouting your nonsense about how no one cares about GT5, how it will fail to sell anywhere near anyone's expectations and post meaningless Google trends to "prove" that no one outside of Vgchartz cares. This is both spamming and trolling imo.

If you search for The Conduit on Wii, a game that sold 440k so far, it has roughly 5 million hits and GT5 has 15 million hits. By your logic, GT5 will sell about 1320k or 1.32 million lifetime. This is even dumber than using Amazon to calculate game sales worldwide.

Use your brain and stop trolling all the GT threads before me or someone else reports you (I'm fairly certain you're treading near the very edge of forum rules here).

Judging a game hype on how many results can be found on google is so... I don't have words for this.

But in case you didn't notice, Forza Motorsport 3 has 1.7M. And go check Yahoo.

It gives me french/us/german etc pages not english only. So using google datas is pointless, it's the most used browser in some part of the world, but not everywhere. (and I won't even post Bing results, GT5 above everything, even Black Ops)
