Hows olds your brother, young or in his teens. i think all younger gamers at the moment would love uncharted 1 and 2, but if hes older i would highly recommend bayonetta.

He is younger than 13 so he is a kid still...

With that said though he is actually quite smart and has already beaten many games probably past his age.

On topic....Modnation Racers, LittleBigPlanet and Katamari Forever are the main games I can think of off hand that offer some "creativity." Of course I'm tired right now so I don't have great ideas hahah.

Foiled again...I just noticed all of my responses have been suggested. lol

Katamari Forever sound familiar...isn't that the game similar to Noby Noby Boy or something?

Noby Noby Boy he got and laughed at Lol...he said that it was one of the stupidest games he ever played...but he somehow liked it and played it for a decent amount of time for a network game.

So, I may give it a shot please explain more about Katamari Forever...length, what you do...

It makes more sense than Noby Noby Boy......But not much more. Here's a video from it.

Basically, you try to roll everything up into a ball so that it gets sent into outer space to fix the galaxy the "king of the cosmos" accidentally messed up.

That...made me laugh...but its still in the running so can you tell me how long it is and what else you can do besides roll?

I think the best way to explain what Katamari games are about, is just to watcvh a couple of Youtube videos. Yep, same creator as Noby Noby Boy, and also a pretty crazy idea. IMO though it's a very charming game. Well, it's a mix of levels from previous games mostly, but if he hasn't played them before, it's great. It's not very difficult, there are few really challenging levels (levels have some objective such as max time, size, what to roll, as well as some crazier stuff like temperature and brightness).

Don't know how long it took me to platinum it, but it was some decent number of hours.

edit: You just roll, that's it. Or listen to your mean dad and his depressed robot-substitute.

Yakuza 3

He has Flower and liked it... he doesn't like racing games much...

What is good about Yakuza 3? How long is it? What do you do? Please explain.

So basically you're a former Yakuza boss who decided to call it a day so he can run an orphanage but shit gets real when the guy who you chose to be your replacement gets shot and you are asked to come back into action and kick ass and chew bubble gum.

It's basically an openworld RPG (regardless of what anyone else here says ¬_¬) main quest is about 20-30hrs but after your first playthrough, you'll probably only have about 4% completion rate and you are free to roam the cities once you've completed the game or retry on a harder difficulty setting. There's acres of activities to do.

posibilities are endless with this one.

He likes games where you can do almost whatever you want whenever you want like Animal Crossing for the DS/Wii. He likes games where you don't have to do one thing to get to another...he likes to go at his own pace. Will he get board with this game easy? If he gets stuck and can't beat a part he may stop playing so will that be a problem?

After the innitial handholding, you are free to roam as you please.

Excactly how old is he? If he's young then the game might not be fore him.

EDIT- Just saw he's 13, I'd say ignore this then as Yakuza 3 is VERY story heavy and can get overbearing at times.

So, at the start of the game it teaches you how to play and things like that...but when thats over you can do all of the things that you mentioned above such as fish, date, bowl, and fight?

yes, once you are allowed to roam the town, you have to locate the places these activities are located in. The town is deceptively small. It looks tiny but there's so many things to do. I've clocked over 40hrs and still nowwhere near finding everything.

*A game that is very unique or creative. - Metal Gear Solid 4, HEAVY RAIN, LittleBIGPlanet, or ModNation Racers

*A game that is going to last a while. - LittleBIGPlanet, ModNation Racers, or Final Fantasy XIII

*A game that gives you something to do even when beaten. - LittleBIGPlanet, Uncharted 2, or Killzone 2

*A game that is either very interesting or just good overall. - HEAVY RAIN, Uncharted 2, God of War III, LittleBIGPlanet, inFAMOUS, Demon's Souls. Just some examples.

My take.

He has played all of them except for Uncharted 2, and Demon's Souls and I already heard why UC2 was good...so please explain why Demon's Souls would be good.

Is there still a goal to the game? Its fine if it doesn't I am just asking.

Yes, there's the main story that you can just steamroll through without doing any of the extras and that can last you just over 20hrs.

It's basically up to you and how you handle it.
