Uncharted 2 - I can't see how you can go wrong with this game. One of the best singleplayers I've ever played, everytime I go through the story I'm amazed at the detail and graphics and depth, and this is on a SDTV. I can't even imagine how good it looks on an HDTV.

And that multiplayer will last you for a few months or so, depending on how into it he is.

There's a reason it has multiple GOTY awards.

Shit forgot to mention another game.

Red Dead Redemption.

Will last for a very long time, excellent gameplay, story and characters. Absolutely worth the investment and you'll get a lot out of RDR.

And if he has PSN friends who are willing to play RDR with him, thent he Multiplayer and Co Op will be an Absolute Blast to play.
