why do you guys do this to yourselves??? where do you find these articles on Wii every week and why do you guys get so pissed when the same things get sad.  THese are consoles, soulless electronics, there not anyone's kids. If I go over and light kick my Wii and tell it to stop sucking(i wouldnt do this) and play my PS3. Its not going to get jealous and cry itself to sleep, I think you guys take it a little to seriously, especially considering its opinions its not like hes telling straight up lies.  As for Mr. Heavy Rain I dont care what he says, as long as he's not spouting anything racist or offensive and keeps making cool crap like HR he's all right with me

Quiet sad remarks coming from someone that was "respected" by the gaming community. Well not like his words really hold any meaning really. 

Now I am curious to see what he thinks about all consoles before the wii.

That maybe so but it doesn't deter the fact that the PS2 and PSP (which are still being produced by Sony) are inferior to the Wii which in turn makes them toys as well. They may be from different markets but they're still consoles. According to this man's logic every console before the Wii was a toy as well which is something I just can't agree on.

Console are toys.

You play with them. That's why you have it. A console were you play stuff. Like young kids love to do. And older people too. Like my dad likes to play the old 4 in a row with coins. Thats games, and you're playing that.

to be fair, i think he is misunderstood here, he isn't american and had lots of typos before with his english language , i bet he is saying "its a fun console" instead of a "funny toy"

Yeah as far as I'm concerned, all game consoles or handhelds are toys.

The Wii may seem like the most toyish one because of it's wider appeal to kids, but in essence all consoles are toys.
