FUCK YES.. best year ever :D

and i didn't buy all the quality  software that came out on wii this year, i only got the ones that interested in me

Sure did and Yes I have a lot of the older systems DS is the only other system this Gen though. Wii gets most of my playtime anymore its my favorite system since the SNES

Yes its pretty fun. I only paid $20 for it so im sure you can get it just as cheap if not cheaper now.

Played the HD versions? I've watched the video reviews but is the HD version better than the wii version? I'm guessing the quality is the same but with different mechanics. Does forgottensand shave any stealth elements like two thrones?

I've played both the Wii and 360 versions. Both are good (not the same) so get both if you like, but I feel as though the mechanics in the Wii version are better, it feels more open, whereas the 360 version was rather flat :/

Whilst I never had the demo, I did play it for a couple hours round a friends house and came away disappointed. However, I bit the bullet and got it, now I've never looked back, well over 200 hours now, and still much to be done! 

If I were you I'd look into it at least, the demo isn't a great representation ;)

However, the reast of the list is win, started re-playing Red Steel 2 infact!

How do you survive games like Metal Gear and Other M then? Or they still manage to get you within an hour? Thanks for the PoP comparison. I remember the previews for the HD version impressing me with the nature control thing but I haven't bought my 360 yet so whether or not I get it on 360 eventuall, I'll get it on wii sometime next year.

I dont most of the time. IF it was not for my love of Metroid (knowing greatness was instore) during the first hour I  probably would have quit. Also parts of the story i found interesting, which is wierd as i tend to dislike cutscenes unless its a JRPG and even that has its limits. At the same time Fragile Dreams has a lot of little cutscenes but the atmosphere that game has if you play it with the lights off at night is amazing. =0 As for MOST of todays games its a no go. IF the game does not hook me in an hour im done. Hell when its a free game if it dont hook me in 10mins or so im done.

I also know what do and dont like so with some research I can generally tell before I buy a game if I will like it. My rateing for Black Ops would actually be around a 8 or so. But, when a game is full of glitches and at times unplayable I dock a huge amount of points. I rate games on my personal enjoyment of them and well lots of glitches takes that away pretty fast.
