I would probably be satisfied except for the fact that I have abandoned most console gaming for PC gaming.

Yeah, but this isn't subjective. This is talking about the Wii's lineup (which has been very good this year!) so, it may be weaker compared to say the PS3 (not 360) but still, it's been a great year!

WOW, I really have to go get NPC Pikmin cuz I have never played/watched Pikmin & have no idea why it's as awesome as you guys make it sound. U guys don't even seem as hyped for Skyward Sword as for Pikmin 3!

You should give it a try for sure because Pikmin is a great game and Pikmin 2 is even better! In my opinion Pikmin 2 is the best game of all time which is why I have been waiting forever for Pikmin 3.

You have to wonder how most people's 'best game of all time' is a very kiddy/cartoony Nintendo. They somehow prove how much more important gameplay is than story, great looking characters (Olimar looks terrible), voice acting and other stuff. I just wish they could make a game with the great gameplay we know them for then still add all these other bonuses! It's like they make cake without icing!

No, overall its been a horrible year for Wii software.. so far, the only games I've liked enough to finish have been Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Arc Rise Fantasia. Next year will be better on the strength of Skyward Sword alone.
