I get carne asada burritos all the time. I live in Phoenix so there is a burrito place on every other block.
Its also the only decent food you can find in the middle of the night.

Good man. I'm in Albuquerque - there is an all night place called Federicos that looks like they have Carne Asada. I've been ordering ahead of time though. I prefer it as tacos or standalone with Guacamole / Pico De Gallo. Its such an elegant food - every time I eat it I wish I had a time machine to thank the Mexican dude who invented it.

Carne Asada is damn good. Too bad I live in Japan where there is no carne asada really, not unless I make it myself. But I can never get to come out great.
Anyhow, those tortas in the final pic are to die for. I can't remember how many times I went down to Mexico and had them in Tijuana, Tecate or Ensenada from vendors off the street. They always tasted better down there than at the restaurants in San Diego or LA. Seriously, I could so go for one right now. Best food ever closely followed by the Mexican taco with deep fried battered fish.
Looks epic! As I already stated in the 'Which continent has the best food'-thread, I love Mexican food. "Too bad" I also live in Japan at the moment, or haven't lived anywhere near any place having Carne Asada at all.... Sometimes, I wish I lived in The States.... sometimes......
What's so special about roasted meat? It tastes good, but everyone eats roasted meat almost every day or something.

I never had Mexican food, but we have Carne Asada here in Brazil.
But here its callled carne Assada with two S. 
And yes, it is very good.
I don't always eat Mexican food, but when I do, I eat carne asada.
But come on, it's no gyro!
