Forums - Nintendo - Disaster: Day of Crisis could have been great

I think Disaster is a sligtly-above-average game (in my review for a local website I gave it something like 65%).

The biggest problem were not the controls for me but that it was little more than a series of minigames, some of which being boring and annoying as hell (like when you need to carry injured people fifteen meters from "danger", to an area where this "danger" seems to be pretty much the same, you can only walk really slowly with them and you have a time limit to do that)

I still think of it as one of the Wii games I've enjoyed most.

I gree with u its one of the most fun wii games, the car stages are pretty realistic in terns of control and how the car responds (at least i think it is) and the all pacing is so non-stop i just loved even if it does not look all that good.

GO PATS! 2012 THE YEAR OF NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS'S 4TH SUPER BOWL!

A patriot to the end. GO PATS!

Now playing> THE LAST STORY (Wii) Best RPG I EVER PLAYED. *-*

Nintendo could u please just take my money and give me back my 3DS?!

Looked like shit, kinda don't care it never came to America.

Now Xenoblade on the other hand...

This was one of the games that made me want to buy a Wii. This and No More Heroes. I didn't even care about Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, or Brawl. Even though they were all awesome. I still wanted Disaster and it was a shame it didn't release over in North America.

I didn't enjoy the game much. I'd rather have a 3rd person shooter, than the cranky mechanic of an half assed rail shooter.

The game felt repetitive, and graphics weren't that great.

I'd be interested in a sequel though. Better polished, with fine gameplay and physics. Story was ok though.

Bought it, loved it. Haters gonna hate.

Really liked it, but could have been more polished. The driving sections were horrendous though. But the Jack Bauer meets Disaster Movie theme made up for that.

Yes, it could have been great if it ever was released here.
