It would be a way for Apple to get into the videogame industry.
They could use the already established, and huge PlayStation name to go from... Could be huge!!

Apple couldn't afford Sony or Disney, lol. Apple has what...50 billion to play with?
That would make me quit console gaming completely. I don't want to support MS and I don't want to support Nintendo. Sony is the only one I am not again supporting, but Apple is something I hate possible even more than MS. Really, what other company makes you pay 300€ for a logo? Not MS or Nintendo, that's for sure, and not Sony either.
Anyway, I don't think it's going to happen, though I must admit I don't know much about these things so I could very well be wrong.

Sony Market Cap is $35 billion. Apple can afford them.
