What are you talking about? GT5 huge pre orders without even a release date. This game will be titanic when it hits for next years holidays... oh wait...o_O

GT5 won't be Titanic

Because GT5 will be a game with legs like other GT games, not a game with a HUGE launch and then sharp sink into the bottom of the sales ocean.

So last week reporting on the Fallouts.  Apparently PS3 fans didn't like Fallout 3 nearly as much as the 360 crowd.  Almost every other multi-plat ends up close despite the HW gap.  (Edit: With shooters the exeption obviously)  It won't hit a million FW on 360,  maybe .85.  Hope PS3 manages .5 out of the gate.  Not bad but less than I hoped.   2m WW is doable.

Still not sure if the 1m Am for Fable 3 is in the bag.  POs should finish over .65m.  Black OPs 360 seems to be flagging a bit.  Dropping farther behind MW2 and Reach POs and they won't be getting the nos. Infinity Ward's puppy picked up in week 3 either.  That's got to be the record in the short history of PO Chartz.

GT fans must be just pzzd.  Most seem more psyched than I am for anything these days.  I might be that wound up for ESV if the previews were incredible.  Hang in there.    

500-600k FW is on lock at the current pace. But there are so many other things to consider. We've yet to see the effect marketing could have on this title. Maybe 50k people go out and buy a PS3 first week just to play it. It could get a 10 on IGN and Gamespot. It might release just in time for Black Friday.

It'll be interesting that's for sure...

Good to see you're both taking the delay in stride.  I thought I was the only one thinking December looked weak.  Jan. has 3 games that I want.  Dec. = 0.

Well I'm only not pissed off because I'm at Uni so I can't play GT5 till December holidays anyway LOL

Kirby slowed down on final week, probably cuz there were 1 or 2 days of preorders remaining. Epic mickey is consistent, but i want it to rise more!!! Pokemon omg!! top 30 :D MONSTER!!!!

Hrm, those DK numbers kinda suck. Did Nintendo start advertising NSMB around this time last year? I hope so, for DK's sake

Black Ops lagging behind MW2 in weekly pre-orders, as I expected. Should be interesting how it actually opens up.

Pretty good GT5 numbers. If it can continue adding 12k per week until it finally releases, it should open at 20 million in NA alone.
