I would Say about 10-20 retail release Games spreed across PS3 and Wii & PC but motley for my Consoles because mot of the Games I am into are only on Consoles but I used to have a XBOX 360 and I am getting another XBOX 360 soon. and about 5-10 PS3&PS1 Classics on PSN and Wiiware/Virtual Console.

I also buy PS1 & PS2 Games new for my collection.

This year I'm at 21 already and there's at least 5 more before the end of the year. I also feel that this year I've bought less than previous years :S... But then again I don't buy many games day 1 and am always on the lookout for deals. I've spent around $400 on games this year so that's about $20 average for games. That includes Red Dead, Halo Reach, GoW 3, Heavy Rain, Darksiders, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction and ME2 Collectors Edition for games that released this year.

I really have to slow down on purchases... I have a huge accumulated backlog because of uni. But I'm done in May so then I can finally catch up on 4 years of backlog growth!

Just remembered that I got Splinter Cell and Final Fantasy 13 this year, too.  So that's 14 full games released in 2010, so far.  If I include my downloads from the 360, PSP, and PSN plus any games from previous years that I didn't buy until 2010, I bet it would be around 40 titles.

i buy about 5 to 10 i just get games when i have free money around. I got about 8 last year and 6 so far this year but GT5 hopefully and probaly Black Ops and maby a few others.

I know why attach rates are low as every time i see people on ps3 they are always playing MW2. So it like you buy cod every year and thats all.

This year, 18 games between ds & wii so far, I already preordered sonic color, DK, Epic mickey & pes 2011... I may get COD, 007 (actually sooner than later), and maybe wiiparty... Ds games, only Golden sun I guess... so maybe 23-25 games total this year... 25*40 (average)= $1000 more or less... I really need to stop buying games at launch...

10-15, but most games I buy used for $20 or less. I only buy 1-3 games full price yearly. This year I only bought Halo Reach and Pokemon SoulSilver full price, and do not plan to buy any other games full price. GT5, Golden Sun, Valkerie Profile 2, and Alan Wake I plan to buy new, but on a future sale (Buy 2 get 1 free). Going to do that with friends so I get 4 games, not 3, and I may add in DKCR and NFS in there too. Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain, and Splinter Cell I also bought new, but on significant deals. ME2 and Heavy Rain I paid $50 instead of $70 (I live in Canada 360/PS3 games are $70 new here), and I paid $20 for Spliner Cell Conviction new, all 1-3 months after the games release. Also you never know what deals I get on boxing day (Canadian equivalanet of Black Friday, but it occurs here post christmas), last year I got Halo Wars new for $20.
