how else do nintendo expect to hit their forecast of 17.5m in sales this year?

I hope that its Pikmin 3...but I doubt it. Next I hope its Vitality Sensor...but again doubt it even though possible.

Well Nintendo did say that both Pikmin 3 and the Vitality Sensor were not at E3 because they were not right for the show and they would be announced at a later time in its on little conference...Pikmin 3 with Vitality Sensor support? Again doubt it.

Anyway a Price Cut is probably what it is if anything. Nintendo denied the Wii P.C last time so denying an announcement of something October 11th does seem like something Nintendo would do.

Generation leader has a pricecut 2 years in a row? If this happens, Nintendo must be getting pretty worried. Either that, or the Super Wii is pretty close by.

Anyway, I thought Iwata didn't like cutting the price, and wanted the SW to sell the system? Didn't he once say something along the lines of -

"Instead of cutting the price I think we should put more time and effort into making better games so that our systems are going to remain 1st place"

I'll go with D: nothing.

Or E: Nintendo releases a Wii HD with a 100GB HDD and a 3D MMORPG Pokemon along with it, fires Reggie, and hires Pachter to take his place.

Nintendo responded to this and flatly denied it. They didn't even say "we do not comment on rumors and speculation", they just said "not happening, sorry!"

Knowing Nintendo, it probably means that this is real. I expect a Wii Plus system to be announced with new colors (pink and blue), bundled hard drive, 2 wiimote pluses, WSR Wii Sports Wii Play on a single disc, and Mario Plush doll.

Well they must announce something quite big, or else the Wii will continue to slip in sales and become a distant 3rd every week.

Man all the Pikmin3 people, why would NOE reveal something like that? NOA or Nintendo Japan would reveal said game not NOE. I think there will be no announcement, if their is one it will probubly be the release date for a Wii title already scheduled for release in NOA and NOJ.

It won't be anything substantial so people need not get hyped up. If it were anything big it would have been announced at the Nintendo conference last week!

I think it might be the 'Everyone's Recommendation' budget price series for Europe.

I would love to see the likes of Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Muramasa, Little King's Story get a budget rerelease.
