Microsoft won't drop 360 after 4 years like last gen. I heard that had to do with the graphics card for original xbox being discontinued and Microsoft not caring enough to find a replacement and make it work. Anyone know the exact details?

M$ is still in ~4-6 bln. $ LOSS.
So, if they won`t make money in this generation, i am not sure, if share holders of M$ will want to make 3rd console.
M$ FAILED in Japan AGAIN.. so only USA left, Europe will go for PS3.
If they will be able to make enough money on software in USA, and people won`t go on multiplatform to ps3, then they have chance to stay in consoel market, otherwise,
when average PC will be more powerfull then x360, no one will need x360.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B
