15% WW boost from Move on the same week as Reach launch. Not too shabby I say.
Quite lol though when you look at the highest selling new release for each of the systems that had new releases this week:
360: 4 MILLION!!!!!!
DS: 2.6 MILLION!!!
PS3: 124K
MW2 PS3 > MW2 360 again this week. I think this will be the established pattern from here on now that Reach is out.
Uncharted 2 almost at its 1 year anniversary. I really hope there's a GOTY version released for this game as that will help catapult it to over 4 million LTD and I hope eventually leg it up to 5 million.

all consoles are "undertracked" because companies ALWAYS announce shipment numbers instead of sales.
360 had 1 million consoles on the shelves around the world.
PS3 had 2 million consoles.
reasons for disparity:
1. Sony ships the PS3 to 14 more countries than MS, so Sony will always have more PS3 on the shelves than the 360.
2. MS stopped the production of the old 360 and shipped the last avaible ones until June 2010. In July they started to ship the new 360S consoles.
Starting Early October Wii will be higher sales and stop declining and be ahead of PS3.
WoW 360 is is selling incredible, Which it deserves 100% because its such a great console!!

Maybe nothing to offer for you, but for me it has far more games that interest me than the PS3, motion controls or not. But whatever, to each his own..
I'm simply saying take a look at the curcumstances. PS3 is really in the worse position IMO because they just had a major addon released in which they poured a great deal of effort and resources into, and still it barely beat the Wii on a week that the Wii had squat.
If you wanna get technical, it wasn't Nintendo's fault as much as the third parties, which have left Wii out in the cold. The Wii lineup this year actually has been pretty solid for the core gamer. The problem is that by Nintendo shifting back completely to the core gamer this year is they have stopped making games for the expanded audience (except for Wii Party), which has resulted in lower sales. But this holiday they seem to have more of that nice balance of core, casual, and bridge titles, which is why I think they are in for a bigger holiday season then most people anticipate.

Hmm well lets see. NPD is only USA sales while vgchartz Americas sales include Canada for one.

Xbox 360 wants to Kinect & PS3 wants to Move! Why are both systems having such relationship problems? The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

Ok fair enough, but if people are over the motion control fad, why exactly did Sony bother with a motion add on release for the PS3?
