Dammit. Now I actually have to watch the video. *Watches Video*... wow... That's... That is a game... You can't deny that it is a video game... A lame, crappy videogame.

I can just imagine this being pitched. "look guys, lets take the week to develop a game where you beat stuff up" states the project leader. "But what's the hook?" asks a curious developer. "Boobies" replies the project leader. "our crappy game will have boobies in it" And he recieves a standing ovation from the team.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

So, from the looks of it: Yuna in her FFX-2 costume plus a cowboy hat and sword, and a creepy-looking little Japanese girl, battle huge golems and zombies in a Dynasty Warriors/Devil May Cry hybrid/clone on the Wii.

Color me unimpressed for now. I'll wait for the reviews, even if it is a budget game.

EDIT: It's by the EDF 2017 team? In that case, I might have to forgo waiting. ;)

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

needs more fanservice.

For those who have been comparing it to EDF, it is NOT by the same developer, the games only share a publisher. The EDF games were developed by Sandlot, the Oneechanbara games by Tamsoft.

EDIT: The first Oneechanbara game apparently saw European release in October 2005, published by 505 Game Street under the title "Zombie Zone".  The second Chikyuu Boueigun (EDF) game also saw European release in June 2007, published by Essential Games under the title "Global Defense Force".  Both are PS2 titles.

Hates Nomura.

"It kinda looks like Heavenly Sword,"

I think the Heavenly Sword developers just wept a little-bit. I mean you can say many things about HS but it was absolutely beautiful. This is

not.

Take a sip of your drink and sit down because he said "kinda" which implies not exactly. I am certain that what he mean is Heavenly Swords art style was probably an infulence.

And you probably would have understood that were you not trying to troll...

...Just a thought.

If you can see hs art style in this video you should probably not take another sip of your drink. This might also make sure that you dont accuse others randomly of trolling
