Wii doing poorest numbers since exactly the same time last year, but it has a decent october lineup so it shouldnt be long. PS3 up, wow! DS is just a monster, PSP is solid as ever...

According to both Media Create and Famitsu, yes.


It's really within margin of error. vgchartz has the highest first week numbers for FFVIII so here it actually could keep its top spot.


But it won't. Both Media Create and Famitsu have Pokemon tracked higher than Final Fantasy. Famitsu in fact has it tracked well over 100k higher.

What is your opinion on PS3 sales?

In Japan? Or Rest of the World? In Japan it is great, but rest of the world could be better...(same goes with Wii). Well wii could be slightly better in Japan as well, and it will be come late October I believe.

Pokemon is just something else.... And the DS, is just wow! Eventhough there are rumours about the 3DS releasing soon, it keeps selling more and more.

 

Can't wait to try Pokemon Black

I really believe wii in japan will be fine this holidays, same goes to NA. But in EU it will struggle

About time FF8 was dethroned. Black/White deserve it! These games are amazing! I call 5 Million units sold on it's first week Worldwide Dethroning Modern Warfare 2.

C'mon, man!  It's ok that Pokemon beat out FFVIII.

I have nothing against that at all =D. I just noticed how interestingly close they are especially if we take FFVIII numbers from here. This's sales site so I'm just stating the possibilities. =P
