Forums - Gaming - Capcom's Inafune is Rubbish

Ahhh yes... Capcom and their arrogance...

Keiji Inafune said "The Japanese industry isn’t dead as long as Capcom is still around."

He also said that if you look in the Western Charts, you don't see many Japanese Games...

This guys is so full of himself. Even the Japanese, decide to ignore Nintendo, Wii and the DS.

Someone hasn't been to VGChartz :D. There's at least 3 Nintendo Game EVERY WEEK in the Top 10 WORLDWIDE. What is this guy talking about?! Square Enix is doing better way better than Capcom and yet Inafune says rubbish like this...

Around the Network

its because most Capcom games are cheesy westernized games, they're in middle grounds.

I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...

You can add Street Fighter 4. Still I don't know what capcom is thinking with these statements, are they just ignoring Nintendo???

its becasue he has to please his bosses and build shareholder confidence.

I always find it funny, that Nintendo is always ignored when it comes to "Japanese" industry.

He rules. You're just jealous that you don't get to hang out with Frank West and Mega Man.

you used the word rubbish? haven't seen that word used in about 4-6 yrs. thats history for ya!

on topic: i'm sure nobody pays any attention to him.

I don't believe he really thinks is because of Capcom the Japanese Industry is dead...if we have someone to thank is Nintendo.

Above: still the best game of the year.

that's funny, I thought the thread would be about this: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-09-18-capcoms-profits-plummet

"Capcom's annual net income is at its lowest since 2004, the publisher revealed today in its annual financial report."

"The report blamed the poor performance on weak sales of Bionic Commando, Dark Void and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, though noted that Monster Hunter Tri, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth and Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition all performed well."

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!
