Totally crazy. Anyone know if Famitsu and MC are showing the same thing? 2008 was such a horribly bad year for PS3. No wonder people were saying the console was dead.

Congratulations sony for turning it around (Not in just total hardware sales alone, but in profitability, because in the end that what matters to a business.)

Add: Now if only you can completely green(the profitability of the whole console generation) the ps3 in terms of profitability in the next years.

Well it was a lot more expensive in 2008.

1.83 for Japan in 2009.

It did 1.2 million from September - December in 2009. But that was because of the price cut. Hard to predict how many it will sell this holiday.
