Should developers stop making games for the PSP and just put the game on the PS3?

Seems like every time the PSP get's a new game (especially the really big ones) people are extremely disappointed that it's on the PSP and not the PS3 (VC3 being the latest). So if everyone seems to hate PSP games and software is practically non existent everywhere but Japan, why not just not just give up on the PSP and put it directly on the PS3?

i like spin offs and original titles on the psp, by spin off i mean i wont like god of war 4 on the psp but dont mind it getting GOW chains of olympus

Before yesterday, I would have said no. But now? Oh hell yes.

No I hope they never stop making awesome PSP games. I want it to be like the Dreamcast and still have games coming out for it 10 years from now. I want it to still have games and be on store shelves when Nintendo retires the DS. I want it to get multiplats of 3DS games. I want PSP games even after the successor has been out.

Why?

To spit in the face of every hater the system has like Gamestop. The system has been bashed and called dead for years now but still has awesome games coming out like KH, MGS, VC3, GOW, and even a RE game. Software wise this has been one of the PSP's Best years. I love my PSP and will never let it go! NEVER!!!!!!!!!

I think people should stop complaining that the games they want are on the PSP and go out and buy a PSP.  Hell you can go out and buy a PSP with one of the best game ever made.

Because PSP games cost far less to develop? That and if they're put on PSN for download they'll have a much higher profit margin per sale.

Only after the 3DS comes out.

Yes, especially re-releases with updated graphics.
