Apparently when Rare makes a party game clone, they don't fuck around.

I'm pretty impressed by this new trailer. I think it'll definitely appeal to casual gamers.

Nice, fun trailer. Still feels so blatantly like the Wii Sports rip off that it is, but will that make any difference to mainstream consumers if it's fun?

I do think this game looks pretty good. I think Kinnect Sports did a good job of realizing part of Wii Sports' appeal was the accesible and pleasing presentation. Sports Champions just seems to have a really bland presentation whifun facch I think will harm its fun factor.

Of the sports presented I wonder how bowling and table tennis will feel when you are not actually holding something. Otherwise the sports shown look like they will be a good fit for Kinnect.

...This isn't a gameplay trailer or anything.

The only actual gameplay I've seen for this was Track and Field, where you run in place until you need to hop and repeat ad nauseum.

For someone who accuses others of "buying into the hype" this thread seems a bit hypocritical.

You clearly just crowbarred Sports Champion in there. Also, I find it more so... terribly bland than realistic.
