Also i think the only reasn he's saying this is to avoid incoming shitstorm. I remember when  FF 13 was announced for 360. Oh boy did the internet have fun with that one.

As long as they won't start cutting the content to make the versions equal, they can port it on the wii for all I care.

If it doesn't get delayed I have no problem with it. They developed FF XIII only for PS3 as well and then ported it while doing the English localisation. But I guess porting Versus XIII will probably take longer than XIII because it's simply not as linear.

We'll see.

And instead of three million playing the game, there will be four million playing the game. Or something like that. Doubling the potential userbase does not equal doubling the sales.

It's funny how the PS3 version is always a crappy port with terrible quality even when the only difference would be antialiasing but when the 360 version is lower quality, it doesn't matter.

It's not a big difference, that is correct, but I hate when that logic isn't applied on all platforms equally. And I'm not saying you are doing that, I was thinking about what I usually see here.

Anyway, that's fine if we get the PS3 version first. That's because I don't want the 360 version to affect the PS3 version in any way. I don't want the devs to even think about the 360 when they are planning something, it'll just end up bad. And I'm still bitter for not getting the Japanese voice track for XIII thanks to 360 (most definitely there was still space available and if not, there would have been if they wanted - the main reason seems to be the promise of both version being identical instead, and since the Japanese voice track could not fit on DVD...).

As its optimized for PS3 now its too late to port it.

in defence of SE, no release date has been anounced for Versus...in fact very little has been seen of Versus so they can't be accused of "delaying" anything. Though with that said, it would be nice to just once experience a true "timed" exclusive for the ps3 like the 360 seems to get every other day.
