if it had another name....... or even if it was called FF........ It would have been much better, but being a  sequel of the best game of all time and not delivering what the original did is a shame

Chrono Cross is better than original... and I loved Chrono Trigger (but FFVI is the king on it generation).

So its bad because it isn't as good as CT

but if it was called something else you'd accept that its an amazing game.

I'm not one to really enjoy an RPG, but I really came to love Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and the Mario and Luigi games, so it's kind of a bummer not to see any of them on the list.

But like I said, I'm not really into the genre, so what would I know?

Pretty good list if you're a JRPG nut. WRPG fans would strongly disagree.

I'm the first person to comment on the lack of Mother 3.

I'm not sure how to respond to that. It hurts me.

But rage is a hell of an aenesthetic.

I think it's reasonable. I have not played it. But I can think of why... if I remember correctly.

It was only released in japan, and you had to get a fan translation patch to play it in english years later.

So I'd argue it's plenty reasonable for many not to play it and or mention it.
