No one called uncharted the graphics king when it came out in 2007 and for good reason. Everything looked plastic. The graphics are average at best. It may be more aesthetically pleasing than gears (thanks to more color) but it wasn't as graphically or artistically good as gears. There are also plenty of multiplats that look better than UC1. I've played UC1 and I wouldn't even put it in the top 10.

UC2 was a HUGE step up and that is why people took notice. Now all of a sudden people want to retroactively claim that UC1 was a graphics king. It was good but it wasn't great.

I agree with you on that one.  Also their are probably over a dozen multiplatform games that look better then the first Uncharted game.
