You know last years PS3slim boost.

Slim was released week early in some shops in america if I remember right. It got bump to 105k in americas last year during this week.

Wait... I thought the PS3 Slim/Pricecut started next week? How could PS3 already be down (Arkham Asylum released this week...)? O_o It's at 140k, which is a respectable number of units sold.

I remember now. Slim released in US one week early didn't it? It rose 80% that week so it must be that...

And look at the PS3 worldwide sales of this week last year.

22,812,220... And it currently sits at 37,288,193. Such a dramatic turn around in a year

the PS3 already had the price cut at this point last year.

This week last year PS3 got a 180% bump in Americas with the phat price drop, and early release of slim in some locations I believe.

RIP PS3 YoY weekly positive sales. I don't imagine we'll see you back for about a year; earlier if there is an early price cut.

I wonder if 360 will be adjusted up again in a few days. Though I think Americas Arcade bump is wearing off, and EMEAA's Arcade bump got spread over 2 weeks so I think this week's number look about right.
