Wow 100 million sellers, but PS2 still has 224 million sellers :P
Still, for a current gen console, mid-way through life, that may still end up with 150 million sellers, and right now the 360 still has 38 more million sellers then PS3 (62 total), and 16 more million sellers then the Wii (84 total).
Just imagine how much money Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony are making off royalties. I heard it's about $12 per game.

That's a stupid comparison. It's like saying the PS3 has more million sellers than the dreamcast and thus is doing incredibly
|
What? which comparision in particular? Just saying the PS2 did a lot better...

Anything to negate MS success?

LOL must be, but nothing will come close to PS2.
|
DS Maybe. How many 100 sellers does that have?
|
The DS only has 105 million sellers, so with a good holiday season, 360 will probably surpass the DS million seller-wise and be the best this gen all-together. For reference PSP has 36 million sellers, GBA has 51 million sellers, and the original Gameboy/GBC has 56 million sellers. So the DS has really stepped up software sales for handhelds.
So PS2 still has the most at 224, Playstation 1 is second with 136, then DS is third with 105, the 360 is fourth with 100, Wii is fifth with 84, NES is sixth with 64, PS3 is seventh with 62, GB is eigth with 56, N64 is ninth with 52, GBA is tenth with 51, XB is elevenths with 50, SNES is twelth with 48, GC is thirteeth with 41, and PSP is fourteenth with 36 currently.
So all current gen system except PSP are doing well, but to be fair PSP is doing moderatly well for a handheld since handhelds before DS only got around 50 million sellers, and PSP still has some life.
