The 360 is not the first console to reach 100 million sellers. The PS1 is.
Cue the throwing of tomatoes.

I'm trying to negate the success of the 360, run for cover. Oh no, I think someone just mentioned PS2 numbers as well, 360 fans are breaking out the clubs.
Seriously though, I think a lot of 360 fans out there are missing the point. The comparison to PS2 numbers are pointing out that Sony no longer has a stranglehold of the industry. A lot more people are playing games now, and it's across three different platforms.
NES ruled all.
Sega broke in and SNES wasn't as dominant as many would have thought.
PS1 came and conquered.
PS2 did the same.
We're back to a more even playing field.
