Only a month or so until the ultimate F1 experience is released on the XBOX360 and PS3.

After seeing some of the developer videos on the game, like the weather effects and how much detail they are putting into this game, I'm really excited.

I found out today my local shop is giving away free F1 polo shirts with every pre-order so I put down some cash straight away.

Who else is planning on picking this up??

Hell yes.

The racing game of the year for me.

No other racing game is as important to be good. Reports are great. So heres hoping.

F1 forever.

Yeah it looks really good.

F1 2009 was ok I guess but there was heaps of features missing.

This looks and sounds like they've used the extra power for some really cool features like the drying line in the wet and little things like car upgrades during a season if you out-perform your team-mate.

Yep. Also like the sound of the full realism mode to. And they have made a real effort to make the force feedback wheel work like an F1 feel. I will be doing full race distances to. F1 circuits are the best circuits in the business.

I was really happy to have some F1 curcuits in Forza 3. But driving all of them with F1 career mode will be amazing.

Cant wait.

I just hope there is some kind of "real life" mode, with full laps on a race and the real times. Now that would be hardcore and great to play.

There is. Dev diary 3 I believe tells this.

I'm looking forward to this , WRC and GT5  in the next few months. A good year for racing fans. With these racing games plus Civ5 I going to be doing some serious gaming this fall.

I may have to invest in a wheel.

Any advice on a good one for the 360??

No demo, no buy.

For this kind of game a demo is IMPORTANT!

Only two options (unlike PC and PS3):

 1)  a cheap X360 mircosoft wireless wheel  (you can hook up G25/G27 pedals if you have a set)

 2)  a more expensive Fanatecs  911 Turbo  wheel.

Fanatec Turbo is clearly the best 360 wheel when it comes to features (clutch, gear shifter, wheel adjustablity, 900 degress turning) yet some of the fastest times on Forza3 were from those who used X360  wireless wheel.  I personally wouldn't buy the Fanatec  911Turbo unless you are planning to get more into racing sims including PC.  X360 wireless is the better option for the casual sim racer.

X360 wireless wheel has only 270 degrees of wheel turn which is perfect for a F1 game.
