Take this one with a grain of salt, but considering that some of the sources are the same that predicted the black bundle weeks after the release.

The Wii has been quite silent over the past few months. Its most significant appearance was a few months back with the launch of Super Mario Galaxy 2 and the Black/White Wii Motion Plus Bundle for $199.99. As a response to PS3 and Xbox 360 gaining marketshare, the Wii may be getting its next official price drop. According to a CAG, forum user, it seems, he has obtained a new Target ad which lists the Nintendo Wii "Legacy" system, only including the Wii and Wii Sports (no Motion Plus) for 149.99.

I already commented on this over at N4G.

Likely just an inventory clearance. I don't think Nintendo is even making that SKU anymore. And it would render the current SKU obsolete. What's the point of a bundle if you can get the different items included with it for the same as the added price? 

$149 Wii plus Wii Sports Resort = $199

If they were to do it like the Xbox arcade it would have to be at least $160

:edit: The lack of a plus sign is really starting to get annoying.

i think it's too expensive.

The cost differential between the low end and high end models would have to be less than the value of what's not included with the low end model. I just put it at a round number.

I knew this a loooong time ago. They are clearingthe shelves off of the old Wii sku, because the bundle of $199 has a lot more value. Also, there were reports for this for quite some time.

funny fact nintendo can sell Wii for 99,99 ans still have some profit so is better to have a cheaper console now than be sorry later when Move and Kinectis arrives (i dont think they will be a threat, but still as i sa better cut the price)

Not much of a factor, even if this is a new sku.   Unless... Nintendo does more to bump up the 'current' Wii beside WM which simply isn't used in many games.  What that would be is beyond me.   Otherwise it's basically nothing new.
