I think MS needs a kick up the arse about real 1st party exclusives that can't be played anywhere else. They have a few really good ones but really need more to compete with Sony though they are still ahead in the console war. You an't rely on third party games staying exclusive.
You know, I'm really impressed with 360 fan behavior about this. Everybody thought they were going to be like FFXIII all over again, but it turns out they were all pretty happy the game is going to get more sales, lol.
I wish some other games would go multiplat! :) Gears 2 is a REALLY good one, and so is Demon's Souls.

lol, some of the 360 fans i've spoken to have been very unhappy about this. i'm still skeptical how successful it will be on the PS3, when the ME1 isnt bundled on 1 blu ray and its a year after original release.
oh and by the way Demon's Souls is made by From Software who are Sony first party based in Japan, which is their primary maket. so its extremely unlikely that multiplat will happen. and i'm not sure about Gears 2, but i thought Epic had a contract with MS for 3 exclusive Gears games.

Of course I'm excited, Bungie left M$, no more real Halo but fake ones like Halo Legends and Halo Wars; Cliffy B doing Bulletstorm cross-platform; and now Mass Effects jump ship. Left4Dead will be cross-platform soon as how Valve suddenly loves PS3 so much (actually he loves the sound of Steam printing money on the console).
All 360 left is Peter Molyneux's Fable series and creepy Milo, and I can live with it since PS3 got NI NO KU NI!!!!

Alan Wake, Crackdown, Lost Odyssey, Infinite Undiscovery, Blue Dragon etc are new ips that were created this gen that will never appear on a non microsoft home console.
Jeez how many new ips do you people expect from Microsoft each gen?
Also this is the first gen Sony has actually had 1st party games people cared about. During the ps1 and ps2 era the games that got most of the critical acclaim and sales belonged to third parties. So going by that logic most people shouldn't be talking until they see what Microsoft does next gen.
