Yeah on my new Mac this summer (through bootcamp on Windows 7 of course), I didn't touch anything else for weeks while playing them.

Played ME 1 and 2 on the pc and would definitely get ME 2 on the PS3 as well.
Really amazing game.
and ME 2 >>> ME 1 just becuz of the horrible driving parts in ME 1. >_<
I Imagine they will still port ME1 to PS3 somehow, even if it published by MS. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 2 are examples for that. How can MS own all assets of the game? EA could simply change the name to Mass Effect Sigma, change the name of the protagonist and sell it as a "new" game. After all, MS can't sue EA for designing a similar game, right?

playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles
Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped: the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA
bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

thats your minority oppinion that ME2 is a bad game. in my oppinion its the best rpg of all time. and its sales arnt bad it will probably reach 2.5 million on 360 outselling the first game.
anyway without the first game it probably wont reach 500k copies. ME3 might hit 1M on ps3. i dont think bioware made the ps3 version hand in hand with other versions. i think EA pushed them to do it after the success of the game.
Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)
halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)
x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.
The lack of ME1 is huge. They are doing PS3 owners a huge disservice. You can't get the same experience without having your decisions form the first game carry over. ME2 is still very good game on its own but EA is essentially letting PS3 owners into movie theatre a half hour after the movie began. PS3 owners are denied Wrex, saving the council, and saving the Rachni.

While this is very cool for PS3 fans it makes ZERO sense to release it and not the first one.
To anyone saying you don't have to play ME1 to understand ME2, are you kidding me? Hello Sovereign? The Reapers? None of this will make any sense to new players at all.
Also you don't get the advantage of the linked versions of ME1 and ME2 which carry over choices and make the story much deeper and more meaningful. While this is still cool for people that are PS3 only I feel like they are getting shafted big time.
here is a bit of info:
Mass Effect 2 has officially arrived on the PS3!
Coming in January of 2011 in beautiful Blu-ray, Mass Effect 2 PS3 will feature hours of bonus content making it the perfect entry point to the franchise.

also for those worried:
Jarrett Lee from BW
"This doesnt impact the schedule for ME3."

I AM BOLO
100% lover "nothing else matter's" after that...
ps:
Proud psOne/2/3/p owner. I survived Aplcalyps3 and all I got was this lousy Signature.
I wonder what everyone is going to say when Mass Effect Genesis turns out to be ME1 remade for the PS3?

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

I owe alot of people an I told you so, and I wouldn't jump to too many conclusions we barely have any info on it but they could include ME1 on the disk still or possibly put it on psn as dlc so we'll just have to wait and see
