Isn't anybody going to comment about how amazingly Wii Party is doing? 80,793 units on Week 5!

Nah, they're too busy reveling in the low Wii sales.

Or they already knew the Wii fanbase would drool over another Party game. Especially when it has "Wii" in the title.

Or... it could just be, you know, a GOOD GAME. Crazy concept I know.

Did i say it wasn't a good game? Or are you just generalizing Party games in general to be bad?

Does this really require explaination? You obviously implied any party game with "Wii" in the title would recieve sales, regardless of how good it was. That was the point of your argument.. Let's not bs here..

I'm saying that maybe the game was actually GOOD, and whether or not it's a party game with "Wii" in the title is irrelivant. Wii music also has "Wii" in the title but because it's a bad game, it did not sell nearly as well. These people know what they are buying.

No. No i didn't imply that at all. You're just being paranoid.

I implied that it was guarenteed to have great sales from the day it was announced. You can go back to the E3 threads if you want where many, many Nintendo fans were instantly claiming "another 10 Million seller!". So don't try bs here...

Wii Music was/is a terrible game compared to other BIG music games. Compared to Rockband or Guitar Hero... It just doesn't compete. That's why it sold so "low", if we can call almost 3 Million units "low". If you go to the search and type in "music" i guarantee it will be in the top 3 games ever regarding sales.

Wii Party however... Has what exactly to compete with? Deca Sports? Carnival Games? Look at Mario Party's sales. Nintendo's own Party game... Will sell well on a console where the userbase buys Party games in big numbers. This is a no brainer. I knew it when it was announced, and the fanbase knew it when it was announced.

Seece knows the full comment. Best asking him. I know it's close to what i said though.

Yup, I swear they said something along the lines of any price cuts being bad for the consumer, then gave some absurd reason why.

And like I always say, they didn't mind in the Gamecube era did they?

Edit - "This is my personal thinking, but when the model's price-tag drops over time, manufacturers are telling consumers it's better to wait, and I've always thought that was a mistake."

better that we do not compare it to Gamecube era as they had a total different thinking then as they were already losing so they din't give a fuck

now they are top in the gen

their dominance is sliding, yeah if they don't make a price and make it next year, they could still be back

but most probably like thing are going,if they start losing one time then even their price cut wouldn't matter next year as once you get behind, its hard to get up

and we all expect a PS3 pric cut next year and 360 cut too if not this year so wii will be in serious trouble

I'll just say: last year everything looked gloom to ps3, now look at it.....

so it looks bad for wii, but......

but but wii is already low price

sure they can make a price cut and make a comeback but this will happen again next year and then they won't have many price cuts left

Just wait...... wait.....

In holidays I expect the classic.... wii was lucky, next year they'll be doomed

Nintendo should just leave the hardware business and go third party.

Above: still the best game of the year.

alot of big games are coming but nothing is as big as NSMB so even if a classic it isn't cerain to have big sales

Arguing with logic isn't enough anymore. You have to compete insane with insane. Also it is much funnier.

What do you mean? Don't you like my little Rexie? Is it too much awesomness for your dog to contend?

Also, what's up with Wii Party? It only fell 2K?

Above: still the best game of the year.
