Racing games those days arent very popular... dont know if GT5 will do that good... Maybe yes due to Europe.

wow Fable3 and Fallout on track to have more preoder than GT5 ?

both games have same release date window as GT5 , but have weekly more preorder than GT5

i know, lbp2 and socom 4 might end up getting 250k-400k pre orders.

Reach will be a beast. Nice to see Metroid: Other M will be over 100,000 pre-orders next week, can't wait to get it.

GT5 Is fine. People were Expecting too much.

gt5 is going to do fine simply because even 2 years from now if anyone wants a racing sim for the ps3, GT5 will be their only choice while all other generes have more options avaliable. Whether its able to outsell GT4 is going to be depended on when the new playstation and GT6 comes out.

Great preorders for halo, but even if its first week is higher then MW2 on the 360, i still don't think it will outsell it. COD has had ridiculous legs for a console  game without wii in its title, and I don't think Halo is going to have the same legs, and yes I know COD will obviously be above it the first few weeks due to its November release. I mean after that.

Great numbers for fallout looks to be on its way to a 1mil first week. Big improvement over fallout 3.

Halo Reach is a true megaton.  It's hilarious how there are people who doubted Halo's selling power still.  LOL at Gametrailers for some reason that site has been trying to downplay Reach big time.  

Also GT5 numbers aren't terrible at all but they are far from what many on here were predicting.  I've been saying this forever the demand for a Racing Sim in todays market is nowhere near what it used to be.  GT5 will still sell millions and prob be the best racing game released so far this gen BUT its not going to be some massive hundreds of thousands of hardware pushing units huge.

Fable 3 and Fallout New Vegas doing awesome as well.

gt5 pre orders are good. first thing sports games get to do 4,5,6 times of what their first week did, even more, look at forza, 2nd thing it look at uc2 180k pre orders, 350 k first week in america, and it had great legs. also i dont think that the majority of people who want it pre ordered, some may be in disbelief that it is releasing. i see gt5 getting 3-4 million in america. 9-10 million ltd.
