Yeeeeah the best thing to do is to initiate the suicide mission as soon as possible. Once it becomes available, I mean. You jsut need to jump on it. I did that myself - got that particular achievement, I mean. I would have gone ballistic if something had happened.

Morinth instead of Samara?  Holy shit!

And I got the Achievement for making it through the suicide mission without losing anybody by using an old save.  My first playthrough, people were dropping like flies!  It was pretty sad seeing this people I came to love falling in the line of battle.  It's the personal touch and the responses to conversation that  makes Mass Effect 2 an endearing experience.

I took my time and finished pretty much every mission available.  I talked to everyone and tried to upgrade everything.  I didn't even mind scanning planets (in fact, I enjoyed it!).  People that rushed through the game were really short-changing themselves.  Games like this come along only a handful of times in a generation.  You have to savor them.

Man, I love this game.  I'm going to start my hard difficulty level playthrough, soon.  The amazing thing was that there was stuff that happend during my playthrough that I thought HAD TO HAPPEN.  Then, months later, I find out that certain things didn't have to happen that way and certain people didn't have to die.  Amazing how Bioware pulled that off.

I suspect ME3 will kick off with a large portion of your crew going their seperate ways after the suicide mission.  I'm sure Grunt will be in the party (and if he managed to die, I'd bet Wrex will come back), as well as Miranda, Joker, and Jacob.  The people who may have died will likely be replaced by newly hired guys.  They'll probably get right down to business, too as the Reapers start doing some serious damage to life in the galaxy as we know it.

I don't think anybody is going to survive ME3, either.

I know!  I didn't even realize that you could Spoilers: (----------get Morinth in your party instead of Samara) until after I beat the game :O

Incredible game--I love it.  Anyone else beat it without losing anyone?

Yep, on my third playthrough. On my first Kelly died which annoyed me and in the second I managed to get Mordin killed. Third time lucky!

Plan to try and get as many killed as possible on my next playthrough just to see the effect on ME3.

People always talk about Jacob being boring.

Some people go out of their way to make Jacob not boring.

Some people say these people go too far. Others?

NOT TOO FAR ENOUGH.

I think it was pretty easy to end the game without getting any of your main crew members killed. As long as you did every crew mission of course. The game even gave you hints on what members you should select for these tasks.

When you're in the character selection screen, you'll notice that some of your crew members have certain informations written on the right and some don't. Also the game automatically puts the member with the highest possibiliy to get the job done right at the top.

That was my Commander Shepard >:(

MASS EFFECT 2!

The best WRPG since Oblivion imo.

And my 3rd fav game this year!

_______________

I played the game as a POSITIVE character, basically I picked the positive options mostly.

Not many of my crew members survived the suicide mission which was sad, and WTF Ashley never returned to me in the game, I hope she comes back to me in Mass Effect 3.

Now down to real business

Who did you guys have a "Relationship" with?

I tried to have one with Miranda, but then I thought having one with Tali would be more interesting, you know the mask n stuff. She got a fever and a cold after we had sex lol

Well I have the nasty habit to always select female characters on the PC and male characters on the 360 in RPGs.

I played ME and ME2 on the PC, so Kelly payed me a visit in my sleeping accommodation and I tried to convert Miranda, but I think she just isn't into girly sex :(
