SAN FRANCISCO – August 6, 2010 – Today, Ubisoft announced the development of Just Dance Kids, a new video game title in the multi-million selling Just Dance franchise and the No. 1 selling music/rhythm franchise on the Nintendo Wii™ system. Developed exclusively for Nintendo Wii™, Just Dance Kids includes a variety of kid-friendly songs with over 40 fun dances created by professional choreographers and led by real kids. The game will launch exclusively in North America in November 2010.

“Kids will instantly recognize the hit tunes featured in Just Dance Kids and enjoy learning fun choreography designed with them in mind,” said Adam Novickas, U.S. director of marketing at Ubisoft. “Just Dance Kids is a great way for the family to interact together and learn new dance routines, in addition to providing a great form of exercise - as players will be moving and grooving to the entertaining dance moves.”

The game will appeal to kids of all ages with popular hits like “Holiday,” “Naturally,” and “One Time.”

I wonder how long it will take before they milk the franchise to death...

I hope Nintendo makes their own dance game featuring ZS Samus. I would totally buy that.

Oh god that looks terrible.   Talk about milking the cow.

Can't wait for this to get ported to Move/Kinect so Wii owners can finally share the misery.

Why on earth are they going to milk it and ruin the series. Just Dance is fun. I plan to get Just Dance 2 this year to play with my GF, her daughter, and stuff. But, I think after that this ship has sailed.

where is JUST DANCE K-POP EDITION or JUST DANCE PARA-PARA EDITION

It has already started. Three dancing games (Just Dance 2, Dancing on Broadway and Just Dance for kids) in one year will quickly put an end at Ubisoft's try to establish a dance franchise.

Yay another franchise killed! Reallt third parties understand nothing of market, especially Ubisoft and Activision: Blizzard should teach them, they don't know how to maximize profits with just few games for IP.
