Pictures,Text,Something New?
Debauchery. A lack of self respect. Willingness to reveal deep personal secrets to strangers over the internet. A good mix of smart and dumb people arguing. Pics. Boobs. And at least one poster has to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

You gotta get some high quality cotton first and then feed it through a cotton gin to remove this seeds. Next you have to separate the fibers and run them through a machine that twists all the fibers together and you have some good thread. You can also use animal hair and the more exotic the animal, the better the thread.
A little controversy, a little sex, some breaking news, good timing (create a thread on the wrong day of the week and it'll disappear like my dignity), and a little penis.

How to make a good topic
These notes were created by Radish Head on 9/1/2009. They are only to be used with the permission of Radish Head and all credit for using this guide must be given to Radish Head. This guide is for referential purposes only, and must not be sold for profit.
1. Search the forum for popular discussion point. One that will have two sides is good, because arguing means more posts.
2. Create thread based around this point with a twist, so people will want to post in it more.
3. Make sure the title is either:
a. ALL CAPS
b. “The Official...”
c. “The ... Thread”
...To catch the reader’s attention and make people more likely to post in it.
4. If necessary, include a poll. People may post discussing which option they chose. [NB] A poll can sometimes lower the post value/post count ratio.
5. Avoid giving your own opinion directly in the first post, but instead describe what other people’s opinions might be. This prevents you from being ridiculed and means people have a starting point to discuss.
6. Pictures are good. Make sure the picture is relevant, or people will not take your post seriously.
7. Make sure you post in the topic whenever it falls below the first ½ of the page. [NB] DON’T say “bump”, because you’ll seem desperate.
8. If related to the topic, facts are good to keep things flowing. Refer to “How to implement facts” sheet for more detail of this.
Remember to include emotes. Emotes have different reactions on different people, so make sure you use the right ones at the right time. Refer to “Userbase Sheet” to reference what emote gives what reaction.

All this effort, when you can just post "What do you think about cousin sex?" in your OP, and get 300 replies, an unlock by the newly-promoted Lead Moderator and an authorised bump.
