TBH, I'm excited, though not as excited as I would have thought.

I'm extremely excited for the singleplayer, as I haven't played a good singleplayer in a long time.

Multiplayer I am excited, but except supcom, i've never played multiplayer that much. because I get bored for some reason

I'm with you. I am super fucking hyped for the single-player. Battle.net 2.0 though, and just the multiplayer in general, meh. I can't say I saw anything worthwhile in the beta at a

Its weird how people are so down on the multiplayer, myself included.  I used to be a competitive SC player, and would  usually rank above 50 in NA for the first few years before I quit (for those who played, I played with Xds'Grrr for a while).  Now after watching the Korean replays and following the crazyness of it all, it doesn't even seem fun any more.

It has honestly become more of a sport, which makes it hard for us amateurs who don't have time to play 10 hours a day under a coach's strict supervision.

That said, I will probably still be getting it and will glady partake in a little friendly competition.

having played many games in the beta I'm very excited for the multiplayer :)

in the betas I managed to grab a gold rank in 1v1 and was silver with my friends in 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 and I really had a blast in those team matches - 1v1 is scary as hell :P

Very excited for this!

That is the beauty of the league system. Even if you can't compete on the top end you can easily find even matches. The matchmaking was fairly good in beta with an extremely limited pool. Plus not even a tenth of the little tricks and cool features of the game have been found out so you can still be competitive without needing to know how to perfectly control every unit.

I really enjoyed the CGI commercial. I sucked at the original Star Craft though. Lol.

There are several midnight launches for this game in Israel (which is BIG), and i'm attending one of them :P

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

I jsut wish Blizzard 2.0 wasn't a bucket full of steaming shit.

Can someone explain to me why it's supposed to be so bad? I wasn't in the Beta so I wouldn't know :-/

Also, can't wait to pawn you all with my High Templars.

Nothing really. The major problem is the lack of chat rooms, and they  will eventually be added. Other than that Bnet 2.0 doesn't really have a lot of issues on its own. During beta there were some really rough patches like when you couldn't add friends unless you either played with them, or added them via RealID, but that has since been fixed.

I think some people are still whining about not having a unified global ladder, but I don't see how that is a real issue honestly. If it is there are third party sites to fill your needs. There was also a really rough spot for lag, but again that was fixed during beta so no worries.

The only other major complaint isn't about battle.net at all, but somehow gets thrown against it. LAN play is currently not really possible. There will be some tournament play patch  but what that really means is unclear. Over-all its an improvement but vlad just seems to have a thing for hating Blizzard these days.

A lot actually. As it was on the last day of beta, the old Battle.net had more functionality than Battle.net 2.0.

-No LAN

-No cross-region play

-No chat rooms

-No unified ladder. Even people in the same ladder type were seperated by divisions, of which there were hundreds of even in beta in some ranks of the ladder.

-Extremely restricting custom game rules. I don't know if they fixed it in the last month but a few weeks ago a single account could only have a small number of megabytes uploaded at one time and had a limit on how many times you could upload, period.

To their credit they did add facebook integration and achievements, so hooray?

Just about anyone who has been playing Blizzard games since WC2 Bnet Edition hates this and thinks this iteration of Bnet blows chunks. Everyone else is either brand new to gaming and doesn't know any better, or is manipulated into thinking that what is missing is not important, which it is. Because I mean really, they have added almost no benefits for Bnet2 yet removed so much, only one of those two types of people could actually like Bnet2.

P.S. Contrary to what Blizzard would like you to believe, Bnet does indeed have lag, and sometimes it definitely hits hard, so LAN is not obsolete by a long shot.

I'm glad the unified chat from Battle.net is gone. If you go there now, it's just a bunch of fuckers spamming their idiotic fastest maps.
