Im not buying the 3DS solely for 3D as I could care less for it. It's a plus i guess... But really I'm not sure if 3D ever worked for me...

I cannot see 3D (monocular vision only), but I am still getting a 3DS as soon as possible.

People will likely know before hand if they have trouble.  It is very easy to tell.  Go to a 3D movie, play a 3D game, look at a 3D picture and so on.  Looking at 3D is something that the majority of games and soon to be the vast majority of gamers in the Western World have done.  Some have dozen it dozens of times.
